YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT SERVICES
Young people in our community are facing increasing challenges, including housing instability, mental health crises, and family conflict. Many youth experiencing homelessness are not visibly unsheltered. Instead, they may be couch surfing or living in unstable situations that put them at risk of long-term hardship. Our youth programs focus on helping young people stay safe, continue their education, and build a stable future.
Youth Workforce Development (WIOA Youth Program) | Ages 16 - 24)
To help youth prepare for lifetime of independence, we also provide employment and training services. Support may include resume development and job search support, help maintaining employment, incentives for educational and career milestones, support graduating high school or earning a high school equivalency credential (HiSET), or help pursuing higher education or career training
Blueprint Continuum | Ages 16 - 24)
The Blueprint Continuum is Montana’s only program supporting unaccompanied minors under 18 experiencing homelessness and also serves youth up to 24 years old. Support may include: youth-specific emergency and transitional housing, help finding stable long-term housing, connections to mental and behavioral health services, support graduating high school or earning a high school equivalency credential (HiSET), transportation assistance and driver’s education, as well as individual mentorship and case management.
Foster Youth Support (Chafee Program | Ages 14–21)
We also support young people transitioning out of foster care as they build the skills and stability needed for independent adulthood. Support may include housing navigation and stability support, life skills development, mentorship and case management, and education and employment support.
