Donations directly to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank may be dropped off at its location at 602 Bond St. from 8 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fridays.

Bozeman’s Warming Center will close for a week starting Oct. 1 in advance of what staff expect to be a busy winter.
The service is used by members of the Three Forks and Manhattan communities for various medical appointments, including dialysis.

Specifically in Bozeman, HRDC says they’ve seen an increase in unhoused elderly, and they believe this is mostly due to the high cost of living and their Social Security money isn’t enough to live on.
