October 14, 2022 Dear Members of the Governor’s Housing Task Force, We are reaching out as the 10 Community Action agencies of Montana to provide feedback to your draft report.
Governmental Actions
The decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court in Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina and Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, and 303 Creative L.L.C. v. Elenis were disappointing and call on us to stay vigilant.

Fitness enthusiasts help fight child hunger in Bozeman
Attendees of the MTNTough ToughFest in Bozeman spent Thursday getting fit, having fun and packing up over 6,000 meals for local children experiencing hunger.
Volunteers at the HRDC marketplace are working hard, cooking, and packing up free lunches for kids and teens to enjoy this summer.
Public meeting: Montana Environmental Review Checklist findings for Emergency Shelter Facility Grant
HRDC, IX is currently developing Bozeman’s first purpose-built, low-barrier year-round shelter: Homeward Point at Community Commons. A public meeting will be held on May 30, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. to review the findings of the Environmental Review Checklist.
