HRDC, IX is currently developing Bozeman’s first purpose-built, low-barrier year-round shelter: Homeward Point at Community Commons. The new facility is designed for 130 guests with co-located services designed to make the experience of homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Homeward Point has been awarded State of Montana funding through the Emergency Shelter Facility Grant (ESFG) Program subject to the Montana Environmental Policy Act (MEPA). A public meeting will be held on May 30, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. to review the findings of the Environmental Review Checklist.
