Bozeman’s Warming Center will close for a week starting Oct. 1 in advance of what staff expect to be a busy winter.
“So many of the facility things can get derailed or can be delayed when we’re open,” said Jenna Huey, HRDC’s Emergency Shelter Services Manager. “Next week we’re closed to have dedicated time to reset the facility, to prepare for the winter and make sure everything is in solid functioning order and that we have all of the supplies that we need for the upcoming season.”
